Podcasting

I found out a short while ago that my podcasts have an audience.  I’ve struggled with podcasting as I write the blog posts first.    I’ve been rightly so accused of sounding like I’m reading the blog posts.  I am.    I am still working on the performance of the written blog post.

The one tip I received was think of your audience.   We’ll my audience originally was my nephew and cousins and other relatives that didn’t have the benefit of access to information because of my families cone of silence.    Then others started reading my blog some of my friends and others from around the globe.  My main audience from the feedback I’ve received are significant others of blind people trying to get to know thier partner better.
I’m looking at getting countrymen Isomax mic so I can put a blog post on the screen 45” screen and try performing the blog entry into a podcast from there.  The head mounted mic will allow me to rub my nose on the monitor and read the blog entry and perform it for the podcast. If that isn’t as effective I’m thinking of doing some more or less live stuff just off the cuff stuff or as it happens stuff.  Might be interesting anyway.   Then I was thinking of being able to do podcasts remotely.   I’ll let you know what works.  Actually you’ll let me know what works.
Feedback on the blog is still sparse but enough to know that I’m reaching someone and that’s all that counts.  Still good free therapy for me.
