Optometrist

I don’t know where you are what the situation is but here the optometrists are housed with glasses vendors. Peddlers of glass and wire, well plastic and wire. After I had my new prescription in hand I started looking at glasses. I was “assigned” a “wizard” to help me through the process. The “wizard” didn’t have a brain and was much more of a witch than a wizard, and not a good witch either. I know I would totally suck as a cow as I don’t do well when I’m treated like a number or the next cow in thew squeezer to get inoculated and branded.
The other issue I had with this peddler of wire and plastic was location. I can’t get there from here and if I need repairs or bits and bobs or repairs I would need my taker, driver, to take me there.
So I didn’t buy from them. I called to get my prescription forwarded to a place one I’ve dealt with for over twenty years, amazing they are still there and the people have remained, and two I can get there from here as I’m by there most days. I ended up paying more but in the end I was comfortable and I feel that I will get a better product. Isn’t that what its about? Besides I’m not a cow moo moo.
