I am starting this BLOG and Podcast to share my experience with blindness. I am legally blind and have been since birth. I have a congenital eye condition called Ocular Albinism. Many have been interested and inspired by my story over the years. So much so I considered writing a book to share my story….
In The Beginning Podcast
My hope is that by sharing my story those that are severely visually impaired or legally blind or those who are totally blind my derive insight into their condition. Additionally I hope that those who have become visually impaired or blind during their life gain some appreciation that all is not lost and there is life with or after blindness. Finally those not severely affected by vision loss may gain some insight into the world or culture of the visually impaired or blind.
Ultimately my goal is to learn more about myself through sharing.
