Here is my definition of Blindness.
Blindness is a logistics problem. My experience of blindness is dynamic. So when my capabilities change I have to adapt, new techniques or new technologies. Flexibility imagination creativity integrity ingenuity intelligence key.
Who cares about the pathological or medical definition? I have to live with the effects of the condition not the label.
